Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to everyone who uses NORTEZ: visitors, account holders and business owners. Breaking it may lead to removal of content or suspension of an account.

Do not list or promote anything illegal in South Africa, including illegal drugs, unlicensed firearms, stolen or counterfeit goods, unlicensed financial or investment services, pyramid or Ponzi schemes, or sexual services. Regulated goods and services may only be listed if you hold the required licences.

• Do not pretend to be another person, business or brand.
• Do not claim a business you do not own or are not authorised to represent.
• Do not publish false prices, fake listings, misleading photos or fake reviews.

Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against or abuse anyone in messages, listings or reviews. Do not publish another person's private information without permission.

Only upload photos, logos and text that you own or have permission to use. If you believe content on NORTEZ infringes your copyright or trade mark, email business@nortez.co.za with the page link, the work concerned and proof of your rights.

• Do not scrape, copy or collect directory data, phone numbers or listings by automated means.
• Do not send spam or bulk unsolicited messages through NORTEZ.
• Do not try to bypass plan limits, access other users' data, or interfere with the platform's security.

Report inaccurate entries, impersonation or misleading profiles using "Update details or request removal" on the business profile, or email business@nortez.co.za for other concerns. Reports are reviewed manually by the NORTEZ team; we do not automatically verify or remove content. Depending on the seriousness of the issue we may correct or remove content, pause a business or suspend an account. If you disagree with a decision, reply to our email and we will reconsider it.
